250 grams strawberries cut into pieces
500 grams black cherries, pitted
2 apples peeled and sliced
200 gram castor sugar
8 small slices of white bread
200 ml cream
Put the fruits in a pan with the sugar. Cover and place on low heat. Stir occasionally so that the fruit does not stick to the pan. Once the fruits leave their juice and are tender, take off heat and allow to cool. Line a pudding bowl with 6 of the bread slices. Fill it with the fruit. Top with bread. Then place a plate down so that the juices come to the surface. Leave the plate to retain pressure. Chill overnight. Turn out and cover with cream. Decorate with more fruit.
